Partners

Our adoption partner, Petsense, allows us to have our adoptable cats and kittens displayed for the public.

Not only does our local Kroger donate to our Kitten Shower but also provides us the resource of Kroger Community Rewards.

Chewy.com is a huge supporter of our Kitten Shower and also offers a $20 donation on the first autoship order for new customers!

Central Bark is a local grooming shop that helps to foster kittens and cats in our care. They graciously accepted the role of central drop off point for donations of all kinds. As HART does not have a facility, this is a tremendous help to keep us organized.

We could not operate how we do without the full support of our veterinarian at Homestead Animal Medical Clinic, Dr. Thomas Holt. The team at Homestead Animal Medical Clinic work with us to provide the best care at a generously discounted rate for our registered non profit. Dr. Holt is an exceptional veterinarian and we highly suggest his services and care for any of your furbabies.

Supporting Grants

HART is continuing to apply for multiple grants each year to help us help more cats and kittens! We have recently been awarded 2 and we are so grateful.

Recipient of $1,000 grant from The Binky Foundation to purchase new TNR equipment in 2019. This was a much needed grant to replace equipment that was failing in addition to purchasing a remote control drop trap, which allows us to catch the smartest of feral cats. Thank you Binky Foundation! Your grant allowed us to purchase equipment that will last us years!

Recipient of 2017 $5,000 Innovation Grant from Maddie's Fund for our Barn Cat Program. Our program rescues feral cats from Cumberland County Animal Shelter, spay or neuters them, provides rabies vaccination and relocates them to farms, barns and homestead to be working cats.

The program is the ONLY outlet for feral cats taken to the animal shelter. Feral cats cannot be adopted into homes as they are not socialized with humans.
